Society of Bluffton Artists Side by Side Show. I am a member of SoBA, and participated in the Side by Side Show that opened this week. Photographers got paired with painters and other artists to submit work of the same image. We have an opening reception this Friday, June 9, 2017 at 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Please stop by to see it. I have always been interested on how different people view the same things. When my daughter was taking up photography, we would go on a shoot, and come back with entirely different images. In Side by Side, each of us gets to put their own take on the image. I was lucky to be paired with Reni Kuhn, DJ Murray, Pat Gardiner and Marian Sanders. As I am new to SoBA and the Lowcountry, this was a great opportunity for me to get to know people, and put my work out in a show. My images are below.
